Here are really fine, fresh dishes from an excellent chef. The service is perfectly coordinated. It is unbelievable what we are offered in this restaurant. Even vegetarian or vegan menus are implemented with great attention to detail. Unique in the Upper Palatinate.

If you like good food, regional products and friendly service is just right. We came on recommendation and were not disappointed. The menus are thoughtful and well served / presented. This conveys passion and commitment. The rooms are traditional but clean. For us definitely good reasons for a recommendation

Interesting location for me/us .. not sure about the current 4.7 rankling --- 1 menu, no alternatives or a la carte options, 3-times the price for us/me of local alternatives. An evening we/I do not want to miss as experience, so no unique taste or take-away.

Great. Whenever I am in the region I make sure to stay in the Altmugler Sonne. As a pension it is okay, but it really rocks as a restaurant. Situated literally in the middle of nowhere the owners cook on a level unsurpassed in the region. Creative fine dining with locally sourced ingredients for a very reasonable price. A warm recommendation.
